Who Should Buy Arctis Nova 5X?
Good fit
Choose it if you want one headset for Xbox and other platforms, especially when a compact USB-C dongle and Bluetooth connection suit your setup.
The broad compatibility and quick wireless switching make it practical for moving between a gaming device and phone media or calls.
It also fits players who will use game-specific presets and appreciate a long interval between charges.
The app supplies more than 100 presets, while the battery provides 60 hours and USB-C fast charging adds six hours of use after 15 minutes.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you need a headset that connects to a device without a USB-C port and cannot use the compact USB-C dongle. Its cross-platform connection relies on that dongle, so confirm your device setup first.

Arctis Nova 5X Review Analysis
Connections for a mixed-device setup
The 2.4GHz and Bluetooth options address different everyday needs: the first is intended for gaming, while Bluetooth can handle calls or media.
The quick-switch button makes the handoff a headset control rather than requiring a change in the connected device's settings.
Presets add choice, not a required routine
The companion app's 100+ game presets may help players who like choosing audio profiles for specific titles.
Buyers who prefer to leave audio unchanged can still judge the headset on its platform support, wireless modes, battery, and physical controls.
Battery planning and short charging breaks
The 60-hour battery rating is suited to buyers who do not want to charge after every session.
USB-C fast charging adds a practical fallback when the battery is low, with six hours of use available from a 15-minute charge.
Controls and microphone storage
Power, mute, volume, ChatMix, and Bluetooth switching sit on the headset, while the microphone retracts when not in use.
These features favor buyers who want quick adjustments at hand and a mic that can be tucked away between multiplayer sessions.
